Research Interests
Yaying's research interests lay on semiconductor based nanodevices design and assembly. There are three sub-directions:(i) Photocatalytic and photoelectrochemical study of bacterially precipitated CdS nanoparticles;(ii) optimization of bacterially precipitated CdS system to make it suitable for future commercialization;(iii) design of new layouts of CdS based photovoltaic devices, such as CdS/MWCNT, CdS/P3HT, CdS/TiO2, and CdS/graphene composites.
